OPTiM Biz Acquires Certification for International Cloud Security Standard ISO/IEC 27017:2015

OPTiM Corporation (hereinafter referred to as OPTiM), the market leader in AI, IoT, and Big Data platforms, announces the acquisition of the international standard for cloud services ISO/IEC 27017:2015 (ISMS Cloud Security Certification) for its OPTiM Biz service.

■Background of the Acquisition

OPTiM has always implemented appropriate information security measures to ensure that customers can use OPTiM Biz with confidence, and has continuously acquired and maintained ISMS (Information Security Management System) certification. With the acceleration of digital transformation (DX) and the increasing shift of businesses to the cloud, we have decided to acquire international standard-compliant security certification to safely protect customers' valuable data and ensure they can use OPTiM’s services with peace of mind.

■About ISO/IEC 27017

ISO/IEC 27017 is a standard that extends the framework of controls (risks) described in the ISMS (JIS Q 27001) certification to cloud services.
The purpose of certifying that the cloud service-specific controls of ISO/IEC 27017 are appropriately implemented and enforced is to ensure that businesses and general users can use cloud services with confidence.
