The MDM and PC management service Optimal Biz has undergone a significant version upgrade and its service name has been changed to OPTiM Biz

Completely redesigned logo and UI, with added AI chatbot for inquiry support

OPTiM Corporation (hereinafter referred to as OPTiM), the market leader in AI, IoT, and Big Data platforms, announces the update of its MDM and PC management service Optimal Biz to version 10.0 on February 9, 2025, and the change of its service name to OPTiM Biz. This name change signifies the service's role as part of the OPTiM series, dedicated to supporting digital transformation (DX) across various industries. In version 10.0, the management interface will feature a completely redesigned logo and UI, along with the integration of an AI chatbot support function. This chatbot will suggest necessary functions and setup procedures tailored to customer needs.
OPTiM will continue to leverage its expertise in generative AI to add features that enable seamless device management, and the application of security policies tailored to customer objectives.

■Background of the Service Name Change

Optimal Biz has been offered since 2009 and has been used by many customers. In recent years, as the objects that companies need to manage, such as SaaS services, assets, and contracts, have become more complex, we have developed a series of OPTiM Office DX Services including OPTiM Asset and OPTiM Contract. Going forward, we aim to enhance the compatibility between these OPTiM Office DX Services and Optimal Biz and strengthen functional integration to create a comprehensive service that addresses the challenges faced by information systems departments and management departments.
Therefore, the product name Optimal Biz will be changed to OPTiM Biz to make it more familiar to customers as part of the OPTiM Office DX Services series. At the same time, the UI design will be unified to provide consistent experience across all OPTiM services.
Please note that this change will not affect the service site URL. The product website will be changed as follows and will automatically redirect to the new site starting February 4, 2025.

■OPTiM Biz Version 10.0 Update Contents

The update contents for OPTiM Biz Version 10.0 are as follows:

  • Name and Logo Change
    The product name Optimal Biz will be changed to OPTiM Biz, and the logo will be refreshed to align with the OPTiM Office DX Services.
  • UI Design Change
    The UI design of the management interface will be completely redesigned to enhance the intuitive user interface, a strength of OPTiM Biz. Additionally, the design will be changed to a corporate blue-based theme to provide consistent experience across all OPTiM services.
  • Addition of AI Chatbot Function to Product Manuals
    Through natural dialogue with the AI chatbot, users can instantly obtain necessary information and procedures from dispersed sources such as manuals and FAQs. Along with the answers, links to the referenced manuals and FAQs will be displayed, allowing for more detailed information to be reviewed.
    Other updates include enhancements to existing functions and bug fixes.
