OPTiM and Central Medience Form Capital and Business Alliance
for Development of DX and AI Services in Healthcare Industry
OPTiM Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shunji Sugaya; hereinafter OPTiM) and Central Medience Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryutaro Nakagawa; hereinafter Central Medience) announce that they entered into a capital and business alliance agreement on January 23, 2025, and have now determined the direction of their joint business initiatives in May 2025.

OPTiM has been promoting the use of AI and IoT to achieve DX and AX (AI Transformation)※1 across various industries including agriculture, healthcare, and construction. In healthcare specifically, OPTiM has been providing medical DX solutions, including OPTiM AI Hospital, which uses AI to streamline medical documentation processes.
Central Medience, guided by its management philosophy of "Never Stop Healthcare," operates as a Medical Integrator® providing all necessary back-office services for medical operations. Through its network of group hospitals, the company develops services that align with actual medical field requirements. These initiatives support the optimization of medical management and the continuous provision of high-quality healthcare.
OPTiM and Central Medience have now agreed to form a capital and business alliance.
Through this alliance, the companies will jointly create services to accelerate DX and AX in the healthcare industry by combining Central Medience's extensive healthcare business expertise and practical clinical settings with OPTiM's accumulated technical and DX knowledge.

■Details of Alliance Initiatives
Many healthcare institutions are facing challenging business conditions due to recent inflation and revisions to medical service fees. To address these challenges, OPTiM, with its extensive DX and AX expertise, will conduct DX assessments of medical facilities to identify issues and consider countermeasures. Based on these findings, we will develop and provide DX and AX services aimed at optimizing overall medical back-office operations, including finance and logistics.
Initially, we will implement DX and AX initiatives at Central Medience and Central Medience Group healthcare facilities. In the future, we plan to leverage the accumulated data to begin development of a "Value-Added Platform" that will create additional value.
